About Lingofriends

The founders of Lingofriends discovered a huge need for facilitating language learning online between people all around the world. Lingofriends is a meeting place for all kind of people, interested in language, and on all levels of expertise.

The ambition is to benefit communication between people in all countries and between cultures irrespective of gender, age, social status or origin. 

At Lingofriends you create a personal profile with information about yourself, to connect with new friends, that either would like to learn or to teach a language – or maybe both. The concept is called language exchange.

In the spring 2010 we launched a Mentor Program, which enable us to mediate private language lessons online from our most dedicated members. 

Lingofriends is the place to get introduced and develop a long-term knowledge exchange with people all around the world.

The members choose themselves how they would like to communicate, either through various IM's, for example MSN Messenger or perhaps through meetings in real life. 
The communication between our members can be in whatever language they choose.



Lingofriends launched in August 2007. It is a private company located in Stockholm, Sweden.
